Building schemes to facilitate translation: a study of Spanish-Chinese simultaneous interpretation in diplomatic contexts

With the increase of China’s international status and influence, subjects in exchanges no longer remain at macro level, while shifting towards a more professional concrete dimension. This paper takes Spanish-Chinese simultaneous interpretation political/diplomatic activities as an example, departing from perspective Schema Theory incorporated with author’s own interpreting training, teaching practical experience. It aims atputting forward certain translating concepts coping tactics, highlighting virtue knowledge orcontent schema interpreting, especially practice training interpretation,hoping to provide some reference instructors practitioners translation education forcareer development.
